Buried on 30 Dec 1999 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Roans Creek Church of Christ. Obituary: Virginia Altom Miller, 64, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, December 28, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Thursday, December 30, at the Roans Creek Church of Christ. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Brother Billy Ringold officiated the services. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Miller was born August 1, 1935, in Henderson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roans Creek Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Norman Miller; a son, Billy Lee Altom of Yuma; a brother, William Lee Altom of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Kristen Lee Altom and Brett Jacob Altom. Virginia Bell first married Robert JACKSON. Virginia Bell second married Troy Lee McCLURE, son of Jim McCLURE. Born in 1938. At the age of 45, Troy Lee died in 1983. Buried in 1983 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Virginia Bell third married Norman MILLER, son of J. C. MILLER (1925-2002) & Gracie Vonnell LOVELL (1923-1985). 191. Brooksie Nell ALTOM. Born on 24 Dec 1932. At the age of 63, Brooksie Nell died on 8 Apr 1996. Brooksie Nell married Doctor Lonnie Edward MANESS, son of Lonnie MANESS (1905-1967) & Ruby Jewell FOLKS (1911-). Born on 30 Jul 1929. Served as Professor of History at the University of Tennessee at Martin for many years. They had the following children:
