At the age of 68, Floyd Albert died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 22 Dec 1974. Buried in Dec 1974 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Trudy Rulofson, a long-time Palo Alto resident, died peacefully in Redwood City, around on Monday morning, June 27, 2005. She was born Gertrude Bolen in Yuma, Tennessee on January 9, 1922, and moved to San Francisco during World War II. She met her husband, George Rulofson, at the Bethlehem Steel ship-building plant in South San Francisco where they both worked. They married in 1944, and lived in various bay area communities as well as Southern California. Although she worked at various positions while raising her three daughters, her real career began in 1963 when she went to work in the reports office at Stanford University. She retired in 1983 as the Assistant Dean for Research in the School of Earth Sciences. Trudy was a devoted grandmother, and an avid 49er fan. She loved to read, travel, play bridge, entertain her friends, and make an annual pilgrimage to Reno to tame the nickel slot machines. She lived in her Palo Alto home and was self-sufficient until Alzheimer’s disease took away her independence several years ago. She will be remembered for her raucous humor and sense of fun, her love of hard work, and her independent spirit. Trudy was pre-deceased by her husband, George Rulofson, and daughter Rose Marie Rulofson. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Velma Thomason, Henry Howard Bolen, William "Mutt" Bolen, and Mary Ann Garner. She is survived by daughters Suzanne (Brian) Bayley, and Bonny (Justin) James, and grandchildren Jenny Richards, Katherine Richards Louderback, Eric James and Scott James, many nieces and nephews, as well as a large and devoted circle of friends. Obituary: William Edward (Mutt) Bolen, 76, of Yuma, died Wednesday, October 25, at his home. Services were held on Saturday, October 28, at the Yuma Baptist Church. Rev. Derrick Jowers officiated the service. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bolen, the son of the late William Levi and Ethel Roberts Bolen, was born May 26, 1924, in Yuma. He was a retired salesman for Beaver Welding in Memphis, a member of the Westport Baptist Church, and a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Marine Core, which he was a veteran of World War II and Korean War. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Garner; and a brother, Henry Howard Bolen. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan Bolen; two daughters, Amy Joan Sanbat of Huntingdon and Jennifer Watson of Westport; four sons, Jeff Bolen of Nashville, Russell Bolen of Huntingdon, Bill Bolen of Hollow Rock, and Larry Bolen of Parker Crossroads; two sisters, Velma Thomason of Huntingdon and Gertrude (Trudy) Rulofson of Palto Alto, California; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
William Edward married Joan Eloise BROWNE, daughter of John BROWNE & Amy DICKENS. Born on 12 Mar 1935 in Mansfield, Ohio. At the age of 70, Joan Eloise died in Antioch, Tennessee in Apr 2005. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jan 2003.
Obituary: HUNTINGDON: Services for Joan Eloise Bolen, 70, were conducted Friday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Waugh officiating. Mrs. Bolen died at the Good Samaritan Health & Rehabilitation Center in Antioch. She was born March 12, 1935, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late John and Amy Dickens Browne. She was a retired substitute teacher for Carroll County schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Mutt” Bolen; a sister, Nancy Marie Browne; and one grandson, Jeremy Ellis. Obituary: Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Garner are today, Wednesday, June 28, 11 a.m. at Pafford Funeral Home with burial in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville. Mrs. Garner, who was 70, died Sunday, June 25, at Jackson General Hospital of heart failure. She was a retired bookkeeper. She leaves two sons, Dale Waugh and Mike Waugh, both of Lexington; a daughter, Robin Waugh of Lexington; a brother, William Bolen of Huntingdon; two sisters, Trudy Rulofson of San Francisco, Calif., and Velma Thomason of Huntingdon, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann first married Alvis WAUGH, son of Dewey B. WAUGH (23 Nov 1899-Dec 1972) & Girtha L. BREWER (17 Jan 1903-May 1986). Born on 15 Nov 1927. At the age of 71, Alvis died on 23 Jul 1999. Buried in Jul 1999 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. They were divorced.
