98. Lois H. HEDGE. Born on 11 Sep 1922 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Lois H. died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 24 Jun 2007. Buried on 27 Jun 2007 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2001.

Obituary: CLARKSBURG: Lois L. Hayes, 84, died Sunday, June 24, at West Tennessee Transitional Care in Jackson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Roan's Creek Church of Christ with Bro. Bobby Pinkley, Bro. Mark Simons and Bro. Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Roan's Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Hayes was born September 21, 1922 in Henderson County to the late George Hedge and Vester (Altom) Hedge. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roan's Creek Church of Christ. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hayes Jr.; one daughter, Jackie Pendergrass; and one grandson, Charles Pruett, Jr. Survivors include: two daughters, Myra (Roy) Longmire of Clarksburg and Martha (Charles) Pruett of Lexington; one sister, Mary Todd of Clarksburg; two half-sisters, Shirley (Sam) O'Bryan (of Cedar Grove and Brenda (Bennie)Swafford; three half-brothers, Johney Hedge, George (Karen) Hedge, Jr. and Gary (Bobbie) Hedge, all of Huntingdon; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday, after 12 noon and on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.


On 22 Apr 1945 when Lois H. was 22, she married Jack HAYES Junior, son of Jack HAYES Senior (11 Jul 1901-27 Jan 1959) & Ora Mae UTLEY (29 Jul 1906-10 Sep 1992), in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on 23 Sep 1925 in Gibson County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Jack died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 Dec 1987. Buried in 1987 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer and Carpenter. Religion: Roans Creek Church of Christ, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Military: Jack Hayes served in the U.S. Navy SEABEES during World War II.

99. Mary Elizabeth HEDGE. Born on 21 Dec 1927 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2001.

On 21 Dec 1947 when Mary Elizabeth was 20, she married Max Lolar TODD, son of Joe Chalmer TODD Senior (8 Apr 1903-16 Jan 1937) & Panzy Newil BURCH (7 Mar 1907-8 Jan 1998), in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on 12 Apr 1925 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Max Lolar died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 16 Dec 1997. Buried in Dec 1997 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Military: World War II Army Veteran.

They had the following children:
