Military: Edward Cody served in the navy during the Korean War Conflict.

Edward L. married Jo Ann DOUGLAS (221) , daughter of Clinton W. DOUGLAS (127) (1895-1973) & Elva GIBSON (1908-1994). Born in Henderson County, Tennessee.

Jo Ann Douglas worked as a bookkeeper for John Deere Implement Company and Stanfill Grain Company for 20 years. In May 2002, she was Senior Consultant for H&R Block Income Tax Company, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. David Edward. Resided in Newbern, Dyer County, Tennessee in May 2002.

David Cody owns a metal and wood working business.

David Edward married Chris ?.
