Buried on 20 Mar 2002 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Florencie Cody Blankenship, age 93, will be held Monday, March 18, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Burroughs and Charles Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Blankenship, a homemaker, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at Briarwood Manor after a long illness. She was a homemaker and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Lexington. She was the widow of Jim Cody and Frank Blankenship. Survivors include: two sons: James "Buff" Cody and Clarence W. Cody both of Wildersville; four daughters: Edith Cozart and Kay Bowman of Wildersville, Bobbie Jean James and Barbara Ann Williams both of Lexington; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by a daughter, Beulah Manley They had the following children:
135. William Henry CODY. Born on 14 Mar 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, William Henry died on 3 Feb 1987. Buried in Feb 1987 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. On 22 Feb 1930 when William Henry was 21, he married Alta Mae ?. Born on 7 Nov 1907. At the age of 84, Alta Mae died on 12 Aug 1992. Buried in Aug 1992 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. They had one child:
136. Velma CODY. Born on 7 Mar 1910. At the age of 85, Velma died on 17 May 1995. Buried in May 1995 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. About 1929 when Velma was 18, she married Onnie Lee DAMERON, son of Reverend Oliver V. DAMERON (1880-1969) & Colie G. HATCH (1886-1969). Born in Nov 1911 in Tennessee. At the age of 91, Onnie Lee died in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee on 18 Aug 2003. Buried on 20 Aug 2003 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Obituary: Services for Onnie Lee Dameron, age 91, will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Reed's Chapel in Lexington. Burial will follow in Farmsville Cemetery. Mr. Dameron died Monday, August 18, 2003 at his home. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Lewis and her husband, Max of Yuma; one grandson, Rickey Lewis and his wife, Janice and two great grandsons, James and Craig Lewis, all of Clarksburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Dameron. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. 137. Edith Elizabeth CODY. Born on 1 Jan 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Alias/AKA: "Lizzy". On 2 Aug 1929 when Edith Elizabeth was 17, she married Ben Hooper HATCH, son of George Thomas HATCH (1879-1953) & Lucy Jane DAMERON (1884-1915). Born on 7 Apr 1911 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jan 2003. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Jan 2005.
