120. Ruth L. PEARSON. Born in 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Ruth L. died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 1 May 2004. Buried on 3 May 2004 in Ridgecrest Cemetery, Madison County, Tennessee. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Pearson Scott, 92, will be 1:00 PM today, Monday, May 3, 2004, at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Dr. Paul Clayton officiating. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, May 1, 2004. She was born in Lexington, TN, daughter of the late Leo H. and Estelle Hardin Pearson. She was the former owner of Scott's Ceramics; and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Scott was the widow of L. W. Scott, who preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Leo Pearson, Jr. Survivors include a son, Charles L. Scott, and a daughter and son-in-law, Jean Scott Miller and Dr. Kippy Miller, all of Jackson. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Casketbearers to serve are Mark Scott, Franklin Scott, George Strawbridge, Tobe Bailey, Kip Miller and Dr. Kippy Miller. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of West Tennessee.

Ruth L. married Lawton Walter SCOTT, son of Charles W. SCOTT (1881-1953) & Lena ROSSER (1884-1962). Born on 16 Nov 1909. At the age of 83, Lawton Walter died in 1993. Alias/AKA: "Swig".

They had the following children:
i. Jean Ann. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in May 2004.

In Nov 1952 Jean Ann married Doctor Jesse Alfred MILLER Junior. Alias/AKA: "Kippy".
