On 19 Dec 1936 when Alton was 32, he married Beulah SANDFORD, daughter of George A. SANFORD (1865-1942) & Leonie JOWERS (1889-1976), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1910 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.

Martha Ann ADAMS. Born on 22 Jul 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Martha Ann died in Selmer, McNairy County, Tennessee on 25 Nov 2000. Buried in 2000 in Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Rock Springs, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1939. Alias/AKA: "Annie".

Obituary: ADAMSVILLE - Services for Annie Martha Wood, 92, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Adamsville Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Beech River Cemetery in Lexington. Mrs. Wood, a homemaker, died Saturday at Methodist Healthcare-McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer of heart failure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wood. She is survived by two sons, James Wood of Adamsville and Jerry Wood of Shiloh; a sister and a brother, Rena Fesmire of Lexington and Priestly Adams of Reeding, California. Martha Ann married Elmer V. WOOD, son of William Dee WOOD (1879-1959) & Viola Vivian GRIGGS (1874-1942). Born on 5 Jul 1904 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 73, Elmer V. died in Adamsville, McNairy County, Tennessee in Mar 1978. Buried in Mar 1978 in Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

They had the following children:

74. Buddie Andrew ADAMS. Born in 1912 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 74, Buddie Andrew died in Mariana, Arkansas on 24 Aug 1986. Buried in Aug 1986 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1939.

On 28 May 1938 when Buddie Andrew was 26, he married Jernelle PEARSON, daughter of William Edd PEARSON (1881-1955) & Eula Erin HALL (1891-1975), in Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had one child:

75. Rena ADAMS. Born in 1914 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 88, Rena died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 9 Mar 2002. Buried on 11 Mar 2002 in Independence Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1939. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 2000.

Obituary: Services for Rena Fesmire, 90, will be at 2:00 P.M. Today, March 11, 2002 at Reeds Chapel with burial in Independence Cemetery. Mrs. Fesmire, Retired employee of Milan Arsenal, died Saturday, March 9 at Lexington Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton "Beadie" Fesmire. Survivors: two sons, Charles Fesmire of Lexington and Paul Fesmire of Jackson; one brother, Priestly T. Adams of California; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Rena married Alton B. FESMIRE, son of Albert Sydney FESMIRE (1868-) & Maggie GREEN (1857-1954). Born on 17 Oct 1904. Alias/AKA: "Beadie".

76. Carl ADAMS. Born in 1915 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 74, Carl died in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee on 19 Jul 1989. Buried in Jul 1989 in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1939. Resided in Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 22 Oct 1938 when Carl was 23, he married Bertha SANFORD, daughter of George A. SANFORD (1865-1942) & Leonie JOWERS (1889-1976), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 26 Jan 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 52, Bertha died on 19 Aug 1960. Buried in Aug 1960 in Pisgah Cemetery, Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.

They had the following children:
i. Carol.

ii. Janice.
