At the age of 87, William Alexander died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 26 Oct 1930. Buried in Oct 1930 in Rock Springs Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 1st District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. William A. Douglas, Jr. served with Company A, 7th Tennessee United States Cavalry. His unit was captured by Forrest Cavalry forces at Union City, Tennessee. He was imprisoned at Andersonville Prison, Georgia for nine months. He served as a County magistrate, farmed, and had a grocery business. They had the following children:

26. Newton Addison ADAMS. Born on 11 Mar 1855 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Newton Addison died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 17 Jan 1938. Adams and Fredonia White Adams, was born March 11, 1856, and died January 17, 1938, aged 82 years. He was married to Mary Frances Pruitt, January 20, 1887. to this happy union were born twelve children, four of whom preceded him to the grave, three dying in early childhood: Ether, Walter, and Frank, the other died in infancy. All are living in Henderson County. Elder J.O. Brown conducted the funeral services in the home with interment following in the Rhodes graveyard. On 20 Jan 1887 when Newton Addison was 31, he married Mary Frances PRUETT, daughter of Levi PRUETT & Margaret CAMILLA. Born on 11 Jan 1864 in Tennessee. At the age of 74, Mary Frances died on 9 Apr 1938. Buried in Apr 1938 in Rhodes Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. At the age of 74, Elijah B. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 30 Sep 1939. Buried in Sep 1939 in New Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Religion: Member of Strayleaf Church of Christ, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Bud". Obituary: Dies Suddenly: E.B. Adams, son of D.F. and Fredona White Adams, was born in the old 17th, now the First Civil District of Henderson County, December 20, 1864, and died in the home of his son, Buddie, near the place where he was born and spent his entire life on September 30, 1939. His age was 74 years. About the time he met his majority he was married to Miss Lizzie Smith, daughter of Major T.A. and and Mrs. Smith. The couple had two sons, A.F. and Ashley, and one daughter, Alma (Mrs. Jesse Todd). Several years after the death of his wife, he was married to Miss Rena McDaniel, daughter of R.R. McDaniel and wife, and to this union were born three daughters, Annie (Mrs. Elmer Woods) of near Rock Springs; Alice of Milan, and Rena of Lexington; four sons, Alton, Carl, Priestly and Buddie of Wildersville. All these children survive him. His last wife preceded him to the grave several years ago. The peculiarity of the children is that five of the nine had names beginning with A. Mr. Adams was buried in Beech River Cemetery by the side of his last wife, Rev. T.M. Boyd and Elder J.O. Brown conducting the funeral services. "Bud" Adams, as he was always called, had been a member of the Church of Christ since he was a young man, worshipping with the Stray Leaf Church. He was an honest, upright gentleman, none knew him but to honor him, none spoke of him but to praise him. Elijah B. first married Sarah Elizabeth SMITH, daughter of Major T.A. SMITH. Born on 7 Sep 1874. At the age of 25, Sarah Elizabeth died on 26 Sep 1899. Buried in Sep 1899 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Lizzie". They had the following children:
On 10 Sep 1901 when Elijah B. was 36, he second married Rinie McDANIEL, daughter of Rodrick McDANIEL (1842-1926) & Araena McDANIEL (1840-1922), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in May 1885 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 42, Rinie died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1928. Buried in 1928 in New Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.
