On 22 Dec 1836 when Julia Lucindy was 18, she married Henderson TAYLOR, son of Alexander TAYLOR (1772-ca1860) & ? WOODALL, in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 12 May 1809 in North Carolina. At the age of 77, Henderson died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1886. Buried in Aug 1886 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Copy of letter mailed at Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee, by Henderson Taylor to his nephew, Charles H. Thompson, in Benton County, from Clarksburg on March 8, 1879. Henderson County, Tennessee March 7, 1879 Dear nephews and nieces. I have concluded to write you a few lines to let you know how we are getting along. I have bin in tolerable good health all winter till about three weeks ago. I taken the chills. I had three. It has weaken me down to I am no a count. My fears is that will come back on me. Lucindy has taken such a cole that she is hardly able to be up. I hope these few lines will find you all well. We have had the hardest winter I have ever seen here. Has been a heap of sickness through the country and heap of deaths. Jasper Adams is dead. Charles want you to write how you are getting along with our business. If the doctor wont do any thing it ain't worth while to wait on him any longer. I have concluded to take the land myself. I want to come down as soon as I think I can hold out to ride there. I want you to take the land and rent it out. I want you to write to me as soon as you get this and let me know about it. I will close. I still remain your loving uncle. Henderson Taylor.
