Thomas C. married Mary L. ?. Born on 8 Aug 1820 in Tennessee. At the age of 67, Mary L. died on 30 Aug 1887. Buried in Aug 1887 in Coffman Cemetery, 8th District, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Archibald. Born on 22 Mar 1835 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 28, Archibald died in Metropolis, Illinois on 2 Jan 1864. Buried in 1864 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Lum".

vii. James H.. Born on 23 Jul 1851. At the age of 59, James H. died on 25 Nov 1910. Buried in Nov 1910 in Waller-Douglas Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jim".

6. Julia Lucindy ADAMS. Born on 18 Oct 1818 in North Carolina. At the age of 77, Julia Lucindy died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1896.

On 22 Dec 1836 when Julia Lucindy was 18, she married Henderson TAYLOR, son of Alexander TAYLOR (1772-ca1860) & ? WOODALL, in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 12 May 1809 in North Carolina. At the age of 77, Henderson died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1886. Buried in Aug 1886 in Coffman Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Copy of letter mailed at Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee, by Henderson Taylor to his nephew, Charles H. Thompson, in Benton County, from Clarksburg on March 8, 1879.

March 7, 1879

Dear nephews and nieces. I have concluded to write you a few lines to let you know how we are getting along. I have bin in tolerable good health all winter till about three weeks ago. I taken the chills. I had three. It has weaken me down to I am no a count. My fears is that will come back on me. Lucindy has taken such a cole that she is hardly able to be up. I hope these few lines will find you all well. We have had the hardest winter I have ever seen here. Has been a heap of sickness through the country and heap of deaths. Jasper Adams is dead. Charles want you to write how you are getting along with our business. If the doctor wont do any thing it ain't worth while to wait on him any longer. I have concluded to take the land myself. I want to come down as soon as I think I can hold out to ride there. I want you to take the land and rent it out. I want you to write to me as soon as you get this and let me know about it. I will close. I still remain your loving uncle.

7. Jasper ADAMS. Born on 22 Sep 1822 in North Carolina. At the age of 56, Jasper died in 17th District, Henderson County, Tennessee in Feb 1879. Buried in Feb 1879 in Adams Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870.

Cause of Death: Tuberculosis.

Jasper first married Susan Jane WHITE, daughter of ? WHITE & Anna B. LUCAS. Born on 21 May 1828. At the age of 24, Susan Jane died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 31 Jan 1853. Buried in Jan 1853 in Adams Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had one child:

Jasper second married Kezia L. WHITE, daughter of ? WHITE & Anna B. LUCAS. Born in Dec 1833. At the age of 29, Kezia L. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 23 Feb 1863. Buried in Feb 1863 in Adams Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

Jasper third married Matilda Ann WHITE, daughter of ? WHITE & Anna B. LUCAS. Born in Feb 1832 in Tennessee. At the age of 85, Matilda Ann died on 2 Nov 1917. Buried in Nov 1917 in Old Beech River Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Alias/AKA: "Shizah".

LUCAS. Born in 1827 in Tennessee. At the age of 90, Fredonia Tennessee Carolina died in Henderson County, Tennessee in Jun 1917. Buried in Jun 1917 in Adams Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

John H. first married Martha Nap DOUGLAS.

On 14 Jun 1903 when John H. was 54, he second married Dixie COFFMAN, daughter of William H. COFFMAN (1826-1890) & Talitha Cumi STRATTON (1834-1921), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1861 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 66, Dixie died in Tennessee in 1927. Buried in 1927 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.
