Family of Levi ADAMS (1) & Sarah ?

2. Elijah ADAMS. Born around 1782 in Pitt County, North Carolina.

Elijah married Sarah ?.

They had one child:
4 i. Levi (1811-1879)

3. Harmon ADAMS. Born in 1789 in Pitt County, North Carolina. At the age of 80, Harmon died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1869. Buried in 1869 in Adams Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1850. Occupation: Farmer.

Military: Harmon Adams is a "War of 1812" veteran. He served in the 9th Company, 4th Regiment, North Carolina, with rank of private.

Harmon Adams was living in the vicinity of the future Farmville area of North Henderson County area in 1840 according to the U.S. Census data.

In 1813 when Harmon was 24, he first married Rebecca LEWIS. Born in 1801 in Tennessee.

They had the following children:
5 i. Thomas C. (1815-1873)
6 ii. Julia Lucindy (1818-1896)
7 iii. Jasper (1822-1879)
8 iv. Dock Fordlock (1825-1908)
9 v. Nancy

Harmon second married Anna B. LUCAS.
